Swimming

Our Foundation students were so excited to jump on the bus and head to the pool during our recent school swimming program. Daily swimming has really helped to further develop essential skills to keep safe around water. We were so impressed with the independence shown when changing, before and after swimming, and looking after personal possessions. It was lovely to hear feedback from the bus drivers about how respectful and polite our students were on their daily bus trips! 

Integrated Studies - Under The Sea

During this term our topic is Under The Sea. We have been exploring and learning more about ocean habitats and animals. We have looked at the different zones of the ocean and the animals that live in each. We are now beginning to collect facts about a sea animal in preparation for the students to create their own information booklet about their animal. We will actually see some of these animals at Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium, when we visit later this term. Please be on the look out for the information on your Compass events, so you can consent and pay.
