JSC

JSC met for the first time this term on Wednesday August 13.

Student reps were informed that School council had responded to their Semester 1 suggestions and students were pleased to hear that a lot has been put in motion including things such as clocks in the school yard, new equipment for the grade 5&6's and a Colour run in Term 4.

Mrs. May Vos-Rutter was guest speaker at the meeting. She asked the reps to remind their classes of the upcoming Book Week, Author visit and Book fair in week 5, August 18-22.

JSC will be running a Free Dress day in conjunction with Library to raise money for ILF, Indigenous Literacy Foundation.

Students are encouraged to wear costumes relating to their favourite book character on Friday August 22, for a parade in the stadium and a gold donation for ILF.

JSC will reconvene on August 27.
