Our Lunchtime Club is always a popular place to be! Students love having a calm, creative space to spend time with friends, try something new and enjoy a different option during break times.A big thank you to our fabulous ES team, who support the club each week. On this day, students were busy using fabric in all sorts of creative ways!

Bunjil Awards

Bunjil awards recognise student achievement and those who display our school values of being respectful, responsible and kind. Well done! All of our weekly winners enjoyed a hot chocolate or zooper dooper with a principal. This process is always a great chance for us to hear from the kids and ask them some questions about our school.

School Policy Focus

Yard Duty and Supervision Policy

Yard-Duty-and-Supervision-Policy-2025.pdf

The purpose of this policy is to ensure school staff understand their supervision and yard duty responsibilities and to help maintain a safe environment for all students.

What families need to know:

Students are supervised by school staff from 8:45am each morning and until 3:45pm after school

Families are asked not to send students to school before supervision begins unless they are attending a supervised activity such as Breakfast Club. After 3:45pm, any students still on site will be directed to the office so families can be contacted.

Preventing and Addressing Racism in Schools Policy

preventing-and-addressing-racism-in-schools.pdf

Buninyong Primary School is committed to fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment where racism is not tolerated. Racism harms students’ mental health, learning and sense of belonging. We celebrate the diversity of cultures, ethnicities and faiths of all our students. It is up to all of us at Buninyong Primary School to make our school a place that is free of racism and where everyone feels respected and can learn in a safe and inclusive environment.

Policies Overview:

Victorian government schools have many policies to assist and guide operations as required by the Department of Education. Our school policies are available for families to access via our website: https://buninyongps.vic.edu.au/

We value feedback from our school community and welcome any suggestions, questions or input regarding our policies and procedures. Community feedback plays an important role in helping us continue to improve and strengthen our practices.
