School Related Information

Dear Parent/Carers,
We are halfway through the school year and we are excited about the opportunities and learning experiences for the second half of the year. We would like to remind families about Oatlands Primary School’s voluntary financial contributions for 2026.
Oatlands Primary School’s commitment to excellence in teaching and learning drives us to continuously innovate and enhance our educational programs. While schools provide free instruction to meet standard curriculum requirements, we want to assure you that all contributions are completely voluntary.
The ongoing support of our families enables that our school can offer enriched curriculum and learning experiences extending what is funded by the Government. We sincerely thank all families for your support, whether through fundraising, volunteering your time or making financial contributions. Your involvement makes a significant difference to our school and the programs we can offer.
Oatlands Primary School greatly appreciates the contributions received which has helped us to provide outstanding facilities and resources for our students such as;
Groceries purchased weekly for classes doing cooking lessons for the week.
Recent purchases from Scholastic Books to add to the library.
Enhanced digital learning opportunities.
Upgrade of sporting equipment, recent purchase of new cricket and football equipment.
Maintenance of school grounds and improvements to play areas such as a recent purchase of new backboards and basketball rings.
Classroom stationery.
Many other materials that assist with running high quality programs.
Historically, school fees were charged at $210.00 however due to Department’s Parent Payment Policy we are no longer able to charge this amount. Although the previous school fees are no longer applicable, families may choose to make a voluntary contribution in any amount they wish.
Voluntary contributions can still be made through Compass pay or by visiting the school office Monday to Friday.
For further information on the Department’s Parent Payments Policy please see attached overview.
Yours sincerely,
Matthew Kenny
Principal
Oatlands Primary School
