Curiosity ELC

Curiosity ELC - Where Learning Grows
The ELC children have been exploring plants and seeds this term. Through hands-on experiences, they have been developing their observational drawing skills, planting seedlings in our vegetable garden and making predictions about what different sizes and shapes of seeds might grow into. The children have planted their own seeds in small pots and are beginning to develop an understanding of how plants change and grow over time. We also have seeds growing inside a zip-lock bag on our window, using wet paper towel to make the changes to the seeds visible. The children will continue to observe, document and discuss what is happening as they investigate what seeds need to grow, including water, sunlight and care.
