Additional Last-Minute Father's Day Stall

We will be holding an additional last-minute Father's Day Stall this Friday afternoon out the front of the school from approximately 2:30pm/2:45pm until 3:30pm/4:00pm.

This is a great opportunity to pick up a last-minute Father's Day gift before the weekend. A variety of gifts will be available, with something to suit all budgets from $1 up to $8.

Families are welcome to stop by after school and have a look.

Don't miss this last chance to grab a Father's Day gift before Father's Day this Sunday!

Thank you for supporting our school.

Stage 4 Entrepreneurial Enterprise Market Days

Throughout this term, Stage 4 students have been participating in a student-driven, hands-on learning experience where they’ve all become promising, young entrepreneurs!

Stage 4 students have been learning about business and how to design and develop a successful business idea, market research, consumer needs vs. consumer wants, and persuasive devices and techniques used in advertising.

Stage 4 students have been learning by doing, tackling real life concepts like budgeting, problem solving, prototyping and most importantly, working as a team. Along the way, students have also been busy creating posters, business logos, and their products.

Now the students are gearing up to showcase their hard work as young entrepreneurs with our two upcoming market days where student-led business groups will be selling to the community… and the best part? Each class will be donating their entire profit to their own class selected charity, in real entrepreneurial enterprise style!

The EE Market Days are next Wednesday 16th & Thursday 17th September… these are dates you don’t want to miss!

Classes will be scheduled to visit on one of these days.

For some stalls there will be the opportunity to order on QKR, details will be made available once finalised.

Keep an eye out for the market guide via Seesaw where you will get to see all the stalls and products that will be available.

We can’t wait to show you all that the students have learned and accomplished... See you there!

Good Shepherd's First Open Day - Can You Help?

Advertising for our Open Day has begun and I'm anticipating this to be a big event.

I would really love some parent volunteers to help and be a friendly face around the school and seeking just 2 more people to assist with either greeting visitors at the JP gate and directing them to the oval, checking names on the registration list and handing out visitor stickers, or handing out hot drink orders and maintaining the food area in the church courtyard/foyer (keeping things looking nice and clean, putting rubbish in the bin etc).

If you are able to and would like to help, please send me an email at: kim.reddy@gspv.sa.edu.au or text or call me on 0499 339 902.

We're very excited to showcase our school and hopefully welcome some new families to our community. Your help on the day would be so very appreciated.
