Parents Receiving Urgent Notifications
Following the recent experiences of urgent communications being sent by the school but not being received in time by families (for example, the recent power outage), this is a reminder of the importance of having the Parent Orbit App installed on your mobile device and notifications switched on.
The Parent Orbit App is an important communication tool that provides parents with greater visibility of their child's school experience and ensures timely communication between home and school, and through the app we can send school-wide push notifications in urgent/important/emergency situations.
Parents can also access a range of other important information, including:
- Sick Bay visits
- School calendar and events
- Absence and attendance
- Permission forms and school notices
Important announcements and updates from the school
To ensure you receive urgent and important information as soon as it is available, we strongly advise all parents/caregivers to download the Parent Orbit App (available on both Apple and Android devices) and enable notifications on their device.
If you already have the app installed, please take a moment to check that notifications are switched on in both the app settings and your phone's notification settings.

School Car Park
Please be reminded that the school car park is strictly a one-way traffic area at all times. All drivers must follow the clearly marked directional signage and only travel in the designated direction. Driving the wrong direction through our carpark creates unnecessary risks and increases the likelihood of accidents involving pedestrians and other vehicles.
In addition, the speed limit throughout the car park is 10 km/h (walking pace) only. This reduced speed is essential to ensure the safety of students and families who may be walking between vehicles, crossing traffic areas, or entering and exiting the school grounds.
We ask all parents, carers, and visitors to:
- Follow the designated one-way traffic flow at all times.
- Observe the 10 km/h speed limit.
- Remain alert for pedestrians, particularly young children.
- Exercise patience and courtesy during peak drop-off and pick-up times.
