Year 12 End of Year Process

As we approach the end of Term 3, Year 12 students are starting to wrap up their time with us at the College. There is a really specific process that students need to follow when leaving the College:

 

  • All students are required to attend in Week 10, until they complete all scheduled in-class assessments (no early attempts). 

  • Students will be given a 'Clearance Form'. This needs to be signed by each Instructional staff member for each course and/or Certificate that the student studies. 

  • These will be pre-printed with the names of courses that students need signed off. 

  • Following room checks, Ms Kristine Van will sign students off for Residential and then the forms need to be returned to me. 

  • Any student who is not signed off will need to return in Term 4, Week 1 (Monday 13 October).

     

Our Year 12s are encouraged to join in on the farewell dinner on the Tuesday night, and the Breakfast on the Wednesday morning before departing.

 

Behaviour Expectations

As students approach the end of term, the pressure to get tasks and projects completed, begin transitioning to post-school employment and leave behind the 'safety net' of high school and home can result in a great deal of anxiety and frustration. 

 

I'd like to take the opportunity to remind our wonderful Year 12 students that there are a number of staff here to support them as they work towards achieving their goals. I also encourage students to continue to demonstrate the growing maturity, cooperation with staff and self-respect that they have built on over the past 3 terms and continue to do their best as they complete their final weeks of high school.

 

College Photo Orders

Midland Photography have changed the ordering system this year. You will have two opportunities to order photos.

 

The first opportunity closed on August 25. An email will be sent advising when the second order opportunity is open. This will be for the extra groups e.g. shearing team, country week participants and any late orders from the first opportunity. 

 

The code given to you for the first order will work with both. If you need your code again, please contact the College.
