Spotlight on Sport

Congratulations to our CBSQ Junior Basketball team on finishing with a bronze medal at the recent championships at Coomera.

The girls did exceptionally well, narrowly missing out on a place in the gold medal play off. Three out of the seven team members were in years 7 and 8, playing in a year 9, 10 competitions. 

Over the four days the girls played over 19 hours of basketball with only two substitutions on the bench. We are extremely proud of the girls on such an amazing achievement. This result places us in the top 15 schools in Queensland.
