College Cross Country
Our Cross Country Carnival was a great day of competition and students doing their best.
Kinder, Year 1 and Year 2 students ran their hearts out around the College oval with Primary school students, teachers, parents and caregivers cheering them on. Some students ran the whole course without stopping, while others showed great determination and gave their best effort throughout the race.
Primary and Secondary School students also did very well on the course around Lake Albert, with many standout performances and strong participation across all age groups. It was encouraging to see so many peers, parents and caregivers supporting students throughout the day.
Overall, it was a great day of competition, sportsmanship and perseverance, with students encouraging one another and representing the College well.
Congratulations to the top four runners from each age group in Years 3–12, who now have the opportunity to compete at the CSSA Cross Country event in Sydney on Friday 29 May. We wish them all the best.

C.I.S Hockey Trials
On Wednesday 29 April Hamish Gomersall represented the N.W.I.C.C with the Christian Schools Sports Association U/19 Boys hockey team.
The team played 4 games in a round-robin format as trials for a team to represent the combined Independent Schools in the Boys U/19 School Hockey tournament.
The CSSA team came up against some tough competition during the day but did well to win one match 3-1, loose another 2-1 and were well beaten 9-1 in the third game.
