Primary News

What a huge and exciting week we had last week in Primary School!
Thank you to everyone who supported our students and school community — whether it was coming along to cheer on our K–2 and 3–6 Cross Country events, attending Muffins with Mum, or sending money along for the Mother’s Day Stall. It was such a special week and I really enjoyed connecting with so many of you.
I hope all our mums had a lovely Mother’s Day on Sunday and enjoyed opening the carefully selected gifts from their precious children as much as I enjoyed mine!
We also thoroughly enjoyed the REROC show last week, where students learnt about recycling and the safe disposal of items containing batteries. I certainly learnt some new things, and the children did too!
This Friday we will be holding our Parent Assembly at 2:20pm in the MPC, with Year 3 performing. All parents and carers are warmly invited to attend. We would love to see you there.
As the weather continues to cool down, please support us by ensuring your child is coming to school in the correct full winter uniform. This includes:
- No maroon polo shirts
- No tracksuit or cargo pants
- Plain black shoes with formal uniform
As a school community, we are so thankful for the partnership we share with families in supporting and encouraging our students each day.

Muffins with Mum
Our Primary School was delighted to host our annual Muffins with Mum event as a special way to celebrate Mother’s Day. We warmly welcomed mothers into our College community to spend precious time with their children, sharing muffins and a drink in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere.
The morning was filled with smiles as students and their mums/special person enjoyed a range of simple craft activities together, including colouring in and nail painting. It was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen connections and celebrate the special role mothers play in the lives of their children.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our guest speaker, Natasha Eagle, for sharing an encouraging and faith-filled message with our mothers. Her words were a meaningful reminder of God’s love and the value of nurturing hearts and homes.
We are grateful to everyone who attended and helped make this event such a memorable celebration.
REROC Show
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Wagga Wagga City Council and the REROC Show for visiting our school and delivering such an engaging and educational experience for our Primary School students.
Through a wonderful performance, our students learnt about the importance of waste disposal and how to correctly sort and manage waste in our everyday lives. It was a fantastic opportunity to bring these important environmental messages to life in a fun and memorable way.
We are grateful for the time and effort taken to educate our young learners and inspire them to make a positive difference in our community.
