Meet the  ESS Team 

Susan

I'm Susan and I've been an ES at BNWPS for over 10 years. I have worked in all cohorts in that time and am currently hanging out with the grade 2's. I enjoy the variety and challenges that each day bring and am always happy to say hello and chat to anyone in our school community.

Away from school I like to do jigsaw puzzles, read, hang out with our bearded dragon called Mowgli and spend time with my family. I also like cooking (and eating!) and playing computer games.

Gia

I am Gia and you must have seen me around. I work in school as Education support for children and am always here if you need help. I love coming to school and spending time with you. I have a daughter and she's my favourite person in the whole wide world! I am an artist, and drawing and colouring are my favourite hobbies. I can’t pick a favourite colour because love all of them. My favourite childhood characters are Donald Duck and Batman. I also love the magical world of Harry Potter and wish I could have magical powers too.

I have many friends in this school, they might come to your classroom to help you and your classmates. We will see you around.

Katie

Hi! I’m Katie. I’ve been a part of the amazing BNW community for a while now. Firstly, as a parent (I’ve got Elke in seniors and Otis in middles) and I’ve been working as an ES for the last couple of years. I also do freelance copywriting for health brands on the side. Otherwise, I enjoy going on family adventures to the beach, on nature hikes or our latest obsession, bouldering!

Paris

Hi, I'm Paris and I've been an ES at BNW for two years. I've loved getting to know many of you over this time and if we haven't met, please say hello. When I'm not at school I'm spending time with my two young girls. I love camping, travelling, skiing and watching the Tillies

Tara

Tara has juggled many hats at our little school on the hill over the last 9 years, (parent, aunt, pizza maker, tumbling trainer and education support staff). On any given day she can be found in the yard searching for lost hats, bottles, hula hoops and occasionally children too. When she isn’t here, she likes to share good food and outdoor adventures with friends and family. 

Sheena

Hi ! I am Sheena , I have been working at BNWPS for past couple of years and I am very happy to be part of BNWPS community. I live with my husband and two young children. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with family. I love adventures at the beach and travelling. I have visited more than 7 countries around the world.

Bee

Hello! I am currently studying to become a primary school teacher, driven by my passion for helping children learn, grow, and build confidence in themselves. I enjoy finding creative ways to connect with others and love bringing a sense of imagination into everything I do. When I’m not at school, you’ll usually find me outdoors, exploring and going on adventures with my dog, Buddy.

Jacob

Hi, I'm Jacob Diamond. I grew up in Perth with my five siblings, singing and practicing guitar. I have been lucky enough to pursue my passions professionally, now balancing my role in the ES team at BNWPS with my ongoing work writing, recording and touring music (you might occasionally spot me performing in an ABBA tribute band, too). While these two work environments have their contrasts, they both value inclusivity, hard work and most of all, passion. I'm proud to be part of both and thank my colleagues for their guidance and example.

Maria

Hi, I’m Maria! I started working at BNWPS in 2021. I feel blessed to be part of this amazing school community and thoroughly enjoy being part of students’ learning experience. 

In my spare time I love cooking, hiking, reading, and listening to music. I have two lovely pets, a cat, and a dog.

Ella

I love working at our unique, colourful school and have been an ES here since 2020. 

I’m also an artist who paints and draws and has exhibitions. 

I enjoy going for hikes, seeing live music and going for walks along the merri with my dog Gary. I’ll be going on maternity leave next term to have my first baby.

Kieran

I like to play music and silly dance with my family. My daughter Bowie is 3, and she loves going to the beach and eating ice cream. So do I!

Charlotte

Charlotte has enjoyed being part of the BNWPS community since 2018 and has a particular interest in literacy.

She lives with a 12 year old dog and a 16 year old young person who likes to plane spot and browse secondhand books.

She makes leadlight windows when she can.

Jack-Dan

Jack Dan has worked as an actor and entertainer for 25 years, having performed clown-based family entertainment around Australia and internationally. Jack has been working at BNWPS since the beginning of T2 2025.

Scarlett

Hi, my name is Scarlett. I love working at BNWPS because I get to meet so many wonderful kids and teachers. When I’m not at work, I love taking my baby boy on adventures to the park, to yoga or to the farm near our house. Some things I love are: animals, making things, cooking, reading and music.

Ross

My name is Ross! I work as an ES and I help out in the office too.

I am from Ireland and love to watch/play soccer, my team is Manchester United. 

I love movies, travelling across the world and playing with my cats. 

Anne

Hi, I am Anne. I am a proud mother of two beautiful children. I enjoy cooking and hosting, and I love bringing people together over good food and warm conversations.

Curtis

Hi, I’m Curtis. I’ve been an ES here for over a year. I’m currently studying my Masters of Music Therapy at the University of Melbourne, and I love playing music. I perform with the bands Kurilpa Reach and Fat Picnic.

Rachel

Hi, I am Rachel, and I am completing my work placement in BNWPS. I will be in school on Thursdays and Fridays.
