In literacy, grade fours have been learning about words in our Word Origins block. This week we have been learning words like action, react, distract and other words. We have been adding morphemes like prefixes and suffixes to change how words are used. We have also learned about what the word parts mean, like how ‘act’ means to do and the suffix ‘ion’ means noun of action and that action is a Latin word.

In Maths this week we have been continuing to practise our times tables. We are also learning about maps and how to set them up with Y axes and X axes. We got to design our rooms at home or the classroom. Can't wait to design more maps.
