Lego Robots

5/6A was the lucky first class to use the Lego robots for the first time. Students had to work together to build two different Lego grabbers and then upload the code to make them work. All of the groups managed to get at least one of the grabbers completed, with some groups also modifying their original designs.

Throughout the rest of the year, students in Year 4-6 will continue learning how to create different designs and will gradually move into problem-solving tasks where they have to design their own robots.

Once again, a huge thanks to Stockyard Hill Wind Farm for their $5,000 grant which has allowed us to purchase these resources for our students. It's clearly been a big hit already.
