Special visitors in Prep

Our Prep students have been learning about people who help keep us safe, healthy and active in our community. 

They were excited to meet local police officers, firefighters and surf lifesavers, learning about the important roles they play every day.

Life Savers Victoria

Phoebe, the Patrol Captain at Port Melbourne Life Saving Club (and a PMPS staff member), taught students how to stay safe at the beach and around water.

Fire Rescue Victoria

Fire Rescue Victoria gave students the chance to use a real fire hose, with the powerful spray reaching all the way across the basketball court!

Victoria Police

Victoria Police brought plenty of excitement as students explored a police car, sounded the siren, wore safety vests and chatted on the radio.

These memorable visits gave our Preppies a greater appreciation for the community helpers who keep us safe.
