Marist Netball
We wish our CCS Marist Netball team the very best as they travel to Bendigo to compete in this year’s Marist Netball Carnival.
This year’s carnival will be co-hosted by Assumption College Kilmore and Marist College Bendigo from Sunday 24 May to Wednesday 27 May, with matches played across Bendigo.
Over the past couple of weeks, our Marist Netballers have been selling raffle tickets to help reduce accommodation costs during their upcoming campaign in Bendigo. We thank our College community for the wonderful support shown to the team.
If you are interested and in a position to support the team through the purchase of raffle ticket(s), these will be available at CCS Front Reception until 3:30pm Monday 18 May, before the raffle is drawn.
We congratulate the girls on their selection and wish them every success at this year’s carnival.

AFL Success Across CCS Teams
Congratulations to our Senior and Junior Girls AFL teams on their outstanding success at the recent School Sport Victoria (SSV) Wellington Finals, hosted at the College Ovals. Both teams remained undefeated throughout the day, showcasing excellent sportsmanship, teamwork, determination and impressive football skills.
Our Intermediate Girls team narrowly missed progression to the next stage, falling to Lavalla Catholic College by just one point in a hard-fought contest. Despite the result, the team displayed tremendous effort and resilience throughout the competition.
We also congratulate Year 10 student Taylah Mizzi on her remarkable individual football achievement. Following a stellar performance representing Victoria Country at the recent Marsh Development Championships, Taylah was named as a starting midfielder in the Under 16 All-Australian team. Commentators praised her hard running, effective disposal by hand and foot, and fierce attack on the contest, highlighted by six tackles in Vic Country’s clash with Vic Metro. Congratulations Taylah on this magnificent achievement.
