We would like to update families on the growing focus around limiting children’s access to social media to help protect their wellbeing. Reducing social media use can support young people by minimising exposure to unsafe content, online pressures, and behaviours that may negatively affect mental health. Families play an important role in this by setting clear expectations, having ongoing conversations about online safety, and encouraging healthy, balanced use of digital technologies. By working together, we can help children navigate the online world safely and confidently.

We are incredibly proud to congratulate Grace Dillow on being awarded the RSL Jack McMillian Leadership Award, a prestigious honour that recognises outstanding leadership, service, and commitment to community values. Grace exemplifies the spirit of this award through her consistent demonstration of integrity, initiative, and respect, both within the school and beyond. She leads by example, showing compassion for others, a strong sense of responsibility, and the confidence to stand up for what is right. Grace’s willingness to support her peers, contribute positively to school life, and represent our community with pride reflects the values at the heart of the RSL and the legacy of Jack McMillian. This achievement is a testament to her character, dedication, and emerging leadership, and we have no doubt she will continue to make a meaningful impact now and into the future. Congratulations, Grace, on this well-deserved recognition.
