What wonderful weather we have had the pleasure of enjoying for the return to school. During our first week together, the students have had the opportunity to get to know their new, and not so new, teachers. We have soaked up the sun while tending to the garden beds to plant nutritious foods as part of our Kitchen Garden project. For mathematics, we have been partitioning numbers up to 10, 20 and beyond. In literacy, we have been incorporating our learning about ANZAC Day and what it means. Both Mrs Bush and Ms Thorley are very excited about the opportunity to be a part of the F/1/2 classroom during Miss Moore’s leave.
