PE & Sports Update 

Collingwood Football Club Visit

On Monday 16th of March 5 of Collingwood’s AFL players came to talk to the Level 2,4,5 and 6 students about their career and daily lives as professional AFL players.

I enjoyed the players coming so I could learn more about their background, family and how they started to play AFL. 

It was also interesting seeing who could get the footy in the hoop from half court first with some of the senior kids having a shot at it too. 

It was also extremely fun being able to get some signatures from the players and getting the pencil cases.

I was really excited when the players came because I learned so much about them, like their favourite food, how long they’ve played for and learning where they came from. 

I also enjoyed watching them try to score the footy into the basketball ring even though nobody made it in. 

The quiz at the end was awesome. We had to remember what they told us before about themselves and if we got it correct we would get a ‘Future Pies’ pencil case.
