Community Notices

KCLC

Please see the attached flyers detailing some upcoming activities for carers in our community. These events include carer community social gatherings focused on providing information, promoting health and wellbeing, and facilitating self-care through activities such as relaxation and meditation. Additionally, participants can partake in social and enjoyable activities like drumbeat sessions and morning teas. Our main objective is to connect with new carers, enabling them to contribute to the design of future activities and identify the supports they'd like to access.

Many individuals may not readily identify themselves as caregivers. Caregivers encompass those who offer unpaid support or care to family members or friends facing disabilities, mental health challenges, chronic conditions, alcohol or substance abuse issues, terminal illnesses, or aging.

These activities offer a wonderful opportunity for caregivers to partake in social and wellness activities while connecting with others in similar roles. Additionally, those under their care are cordially welcomed to join in the activities.
