MRS SARAH HILL

I've been working at St Patrick's for: This is my 5th year

I went to Primary school at: Cohuna Consolidated School

If you could have one superpower in the classroom, what would it be and why? Be able to read everyone’s minds 

If you were an emoji, which one would best describe your personality? 

Favourite School Subject Growing Up:  Sport & Art

What is your secret talent or skill that your students might be surprised to learn about? Building - I love restoring and building things with wood.  

Favourite Children's Book: Winnie the Pooh - I loved Winnie the Pooh growing up especially the old school style illustrated books. I would copy the drawings and loved the messages in the stories.

I've been working at St Patrick's for: 1 year

I went to Primary school at: Selby Primary School, in the Dandenong Ranges. Our school logo was the Puffing Billy Bridge. Our school got a free ride on Puffing Billy when the train turned 100 years old, it's the oldest steam train in the Southern hemisphere!

If you could have one superpower in the classroom, what would it be and why? Super speed and super strength so I could carry every piece of equipment we need quickly to the location and so I can demonstrate super sports  abilities. 

If you were an emoji, which one would best describe your personality? The person running with the basketball emoji because I have always loved sport. Also the pregnant emoji right now.

Favourite School Subject Growing Up:  Sport. I also loved music too. 

What is your secret talent or skill that your students might be surprised to learn about? I love to water ski, and I can also juggle, not very well, but well enough that I can say I can juggle after lots of practice.

Favourite Children's Book: Winnie the Pooh books when I was early primary school because it reminds me of my parents reading with me and to me. I also have a very special love for Harry Potter and the Chronicles of Narnia. These books made me fall in love with reading fantasy, I still do to this day! fantasy.

I went to Primary school at: St. Joseph's Primary School Rochester

If you could have one superpower in the classroom, what would it be and why? Fly so I could be everywhere at once!  

If you were an emoji, which one would best describe your personality? Laughing because I love a really good belly laugh

Favourite School Subject Growing Up:  Reading

What is your secret talent or skill that your students might be surprised to learn about? I love doing photography in my spare time.

Favourite Children's Book: Charlotte's Web, I love how friendship is portrayed in it and I borrowed it so many times from the school library that the librarian gave me the schools 1967  copy of it, the pages are yellow and it's holding together by a thread!
