Greenacre Secondary Campus Update

Assalaamu Alaykum WRWB,

As we approach the end of our year 12 students’ school journey and as they prepare for their HSC examinations, I would like to take this opportunity to farewell them and wish them every success in the next chapter of their lives.

The HSC is an important milestone, and we encourage them to approach the examinations with confidence, patience and determination. They must work hard, prepare well, and remember that the results do not define their worth. Allah (S.W.T) knows the efforts and struggles they endured on their journey.

Allah reminds us in the Qur’an: “And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives.” (Surah An-Najm, 53:39)

The Prophet (s.a.w)  also said: “Be keen on what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not give up.” (Sahih Muslim)

As they leave school and enter new stages of life, I advise them to remain close to Allah. Hold firmly to their prayers, keep the Qur’an close to their heart, seek beneficial knowledge, and surround themselves with people who encourage them towards goodness. There will be many new opportunities and challenges ahead, but it is their relationship with Allah that should always remain as their foundation.

Allah (S.W.T) says: “And whoever relies upon Allah – then He is sufficient for him.”(Surah At-Talaq, 65:3)

Finally, I advise them to use the knowledge, skills and opportunities Allah has given them to serve others and benefit our community and the wider society The Prophet (s.a.w) taught us: “The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to people.” (Al-Mu‘jam al-Awsat).

Never underestimate the difference that can be made through kindness, service, generosity and good character. Whether they become doctors, teachers, tradespeople, business owners, parents, community leaders or pursue any other path, they should strive to be people who bring benefit and goodness wherever you go.

As they prepare for their examinations, I wish them the very best of luck and success. May Allah grant them calm hearts, clear minds, strength, perseverance and excellent results. May He guide them towards what is best, keep them steadfast upon Islam, and make them a source of benefit for their families and communities.
