Banana in Wonderland – A Special Drama Incursion
Our Prep students were very fortunate to welcome Theatre Banana from Japan for a special bilingual performance of Banana in Wonderland.
It was a highly interactive show, with the children actively involved in the performance from beginning to end. They were completely engaged and full of excitement throughout the entire show! We have enjoyed many wonderful theatre incursions over the years, but this performance was particularly unique in the way it involved every student and made them feel like they were part of the story.
The performance also included delightful glimpses of Japanese culture, making it not only entertaining but also a wonderful bilingual and cultural experience for our students.
What a fun and memorable hour of theatre! A big thank you to everyone at Theatre Banana for bringing such an engaging and joyful performance to our Prep students.

News from Visual Arts
Year 3/4 students are studying tints and shades this week. They are challenged to create a range of tints and shades using their choice of a main colour, along with black and white, and apply them to a designed geometric pattern. The aim is to use colour effectively and thoughtfully to create a sense of balance across the overall design. Do you think their use of colour is working to create a balanced design?
