Elliot House Dominates Interhouse Swimming Carnival!

The atmosphere was electric at this year’s Interhouse Swimming Carnival, as students took to the water in a day filled with energy, enthusiasm, and outstanding sportsmanship. From the first whistle to the final event, competitors showed incredible determination and house spirit, making it an unforgettable day.

It was Elliot House who emerged victorious, putting on a dominant performance to claim the overall title with an impressive 551 points. Their swimmers showed great skill and consistency across the day, securing exciting wins and top placings to take home the trophy. Graham House fought hard and finished second with 429 points, demonstrating resilience and teamwork throughout the carnival. Booth House followed in third place with 322 points, while Carmichael House rounded out the standings with 235 points.

This year’s carnival saw a shift from traditional relay races, with a range of novelty events that had students showcasing their creativity and teamwork in the pool. The water games and challenges brought plenty of laughs and excitement, ensuring that everyone had the chance to participate and enjoy the day.

 

A huge congratulations to all competitors for their efforts, and a special thank you to the staff and volunteers who made the event run smoothly. The house spirit was well and truly alive, and we can’t wait to see the competition heat up again next year!
