Year 7 2024 

Orientation Day

On Friday 1 December, just over 90 Year 6 students attended the annual Year 7 Orientation Day. There were a number of nervous, but excited students, ready to make the leap from Junior School to Senior School. 

The day started with some get to know you games and activities that were run by the 2024 Year 12 students leaders. They did an amazing job getting the students to feel comfortable sharing some things about themselves and helping them to get to know one another. There was also the opportunity to have a group photo, so students could take it home to remember the day and show their parents who they had met throughout the Orientation Day. 

After the morning activities, students were taken around to four different rotations. The rotations consisted of a friendships group, run by Pastor Matt, a Science class, and Art class and an English class. The afternoon was filled with games in the Stadium, allowing students to work together in teams to achieve a common goal. 

The day ended with some encouraging words and a blessing for the students as they departed. We look forward to working with all these students in 2024 and beyond.
