Busking For Change

Over the past few weeks the school choir and our FIRE Carrier leaders have been busy participating in Busking for Change to raise money for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF). The money raised from our performances will support the ILF to provide books written in both English and First Languages, run storytelling workshops, and support community-led literacy programs.

From our busking performance outside the front of the school during morning drop off, to performing during assembly and then for the wider parish community at a Sunday morning mass we have raised approximately $630. The choir, FIRE Carrier leaders, Miss Lark and Miss Rawlins would like to thank our school and wider community for their generous donations, which will all be used to support the literacy development of Indigenous communities around Australia.

We look forward to participating in Busking for Change again in 2026!
