This year in the Library it has been a very big year!

We have celebrated National Simultaneous Story time day using the wonderful book,“The Truck Cat.”We were also actively engaged in Book Week activities. All books in the Early Childhood and Picture Book categories were explored.

This culminated in the wonderful Book Week Parade which was led by our Library Captains - Veronica Freeman and Anthony Wilson. They didn’t only work hard on the day, they also worked behind the scenes organising the event.

There was a fantastic team of senior students who helped with advertising and promotion, making gifts and assisting with our Junior students on the day. The students came dressed in their finest Book Week Costumes and a terrific morning was had by all.

A huge thank you to Mrs Tapley for all of her hard work behind the scenes in making the Library work! It really was a lot of hard work and dedication and also a big thank you to the parents who helped with covering books and Library tasks. Also a special thanks to Deb who came in voluntarily to assist me in returning and putting books away. It was greatly appreciated.

The Library may be a little different next year but we have sourced some amazing books so that you can continue your reading adventures. Lastly, but just as importantly as everything else - a huge thank you to the students of Holy Family.

Keep cool, calm and collected, keep reading and remember to get lost in a book!
