Ryleigh S - Cricket Trials

Congratulations to Ryleigh S who has made it through the next round of trials for cricket Victoria. There were 90 boys from the DVCA region of which only 15 boys were selected, and Ryleigh was one of them. The next round of trials is on the 6th of June where all the regions come together to select the final squad that will represent Victoria for the State competition in Adelaide in November. We are all behind you Ryleigh, not only are you an incredibly talented sportsman but you are a humble and gracious person. Go get ‘em!

Soccer Clinics in PE

For the last few weeks, all MPS students across every year levels have been consolidating the skills of soccer. Last year we were lucky enough to have Football Victoria come out for P.E soccer sessions and next week we have Soccer Star Academy coming. Every class at MPS will have a soccer clinic during P.E next week. It has been so great to watch the students go from learning basic soccer skills to playing proper matches. This week we started off having a boys' match and running on the other side of the field, a girls' match. We then came together to play a mixed game. All students have been so engaged and excited during these soccer lessons, it has been wonderful to see. We can’t wait to have our clinics next week!
