Assembly award winners

‘HAWK’ Award

Congratulations to Zac Hion who was awarded our most recent Hawk award for consistently exemplifying the college values of care, character, collaboration and commitment! Zac received over 5 values from multiple different teachers over the last fortnight, which showed Zac is living these values across all of his classes!

Values Awards

At each Year 8 Assembly we recognise students who have received the most college values awards over the previous fortnight. Each student receives a $5.00 canteen voucher to treat themselves for their efforts. This fortnight we congratulate Hudson Fossey, Hunter King and Chase Garel. Well done on your outstanding Care, Character, Collaboration and Commitment!

Visit from Horsham police - Staying Safe: Consent, Boundaries, & Sharing Images

As part of our commitment to student wellbeing and safety, we invited the Horsham Police to come in and share important information about consent and the legal responsibilities around intimate images and behaviour. The aim of the presentation was to promote a safe and respectful environment where students understand the importance of consent, healthy boundaries, and responsible online behaviour, including laws around cyber bullying. Our Year 8 cohort took a lot from the presentations and we encourage parents to ask their child what they learnt from the presentation.

Year 8 - Netball & Football

On Tuesday last week our Netball and Football teams competed in the local SSV Black Ranges competitions. Congratulations to both our teams who won all of their games convincingly on the day! Both teams will now progress to the Greater Western stage of competition, which will be held in Ballarat on Wednesday the 25th June. Good Luck to all students involved in these teams!
