Uniforms

With the colder weather, students are reminded to wear appropriate clothing to stay warm and comfortable – while still following the College uniform policy.Long-sleeve undergarments must be white or navy, and hoodies are not to be worn under school shirts. We have noticed a lot of students coming to school in non-school puffer jackets. There are school puffer jackets available from Lowes if students would like to wear these jackets. However, puffer jackets, such as Kathmandu’s, are not to be worn. If students need to wear these jackets, they are to come to the Year 7 office to get a uniform slip.

On wet weather days, the M Wing is opened so students can stay dry. However, we’ve had issues with some students remaining outside in the rain on purpose. This poses a health risk and will result in consequences, as we must prioritise the safety and wellbeing of all students.

Assessment & Reporting

Over the past 3–4 weeks, our Year 7 students have been completing assessment tasks across all subjects. It has been a busy time in the classroom, and students have been applying themselves well.Staff have been hard at work marking assessments and preparing mid-year reports. Students are encouraged to use the feedback provided to keep improving across all areas of study. If you have any questions about assessment, please contact the relevant classroom teacher.

Lockers

There has been an increase in rubbish and food scraps around the Year 7 locker area. To help prevent mice and keep the area clean, students must ensure all rubbish is disposed of properly and lockers are kept tidy.
