Attendance
It is important for students to attend school on time every day, with Form Group beginning at 8:50am. If your child is sick or absent, you are required to notify the school as soon as possible on the day of absence. Notifying the school of your child’s absence either prior to or on the day they will be away, helps ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and will fulfil your legal responsibility.
If a student is late, students must present either a signed note, or with their parent/guardian to the Administration Office to resolve the lateness and for the student to receive a late pass. Similarly, for leaving early or for appointments, notes need to be provided ahead of time to either the Administration Office or the Year Level Office.
VPNs (Virtual Personal Networks)
Recently there has been an increase in students using VPNs at school. VPNs are a tool that allows students to bypass protective/security measures put in place by the school and the Department of Education, and as such are against the Acceptable User Agreement. VPNs create a significant risk to both students and the school. Parents/Carers are asked to be vigilant in ensuring that students are not installing such software on devices brought to school. If students are caught utilising the software at school, they will receive consequences. Thank you for your support and understanding in this matter.
