Year 5/6 News 

PARLIAMENT OF VICTORIA VISIT

Last week we welcomed Mark and Megan from Parliament of Victoria who explained the purpose, the role and the history of Victorian State Parliament.  The students also took part in role plays where they explored how bills are passed and what the roles within Parliament are. 

SCIENCE WEEK

This week is National Science Week and the theme this year is 'Decoding the Universe'. Students have been learning about the wonders of the Solar System.

SOMERS CAMP

Our Somers Campers have returned! Some of them a little more tired than when they left us just over a week ago.  They all had a fabulous time, making new friends and experiencing new adventures. Thank you to Mr Boal for putting his hand up to be a teacher supervisor for this camp.
