Science Week 🧪

Check out our scientists in action, all hands on in our science experiments. 

In the Skittles Experiment - we organised our skittles and then slowly poured water onto the plate to watch them dissolve and the colour spread. 

This week, finally our butterflies hatched out of their cocoons. It was fantastic seeing the complete lifecycle from egg, caterpillar, cocoon to beautiful butterfly.

LITERACY

We continue exploring the use of Word choice to listen to, recognise and write wonderful poems. We have used adjectives (Rock words) to make our writing more descriptive. We have also been exploring the use of onomatopoeia (sound words) to make our writing more interesting and catchy. NUMERACY

We have been looking at place value, by building and  representing larger numbers with 10's and 1's. This week we are revisiting the measurement of length and height, introducing formal units of cm, metres and km's.

SCHOOL PRODUCTION

Our dance and songs are well underway. We can't wait to perform for you.
