Interested in working at the Royal Melbourne Show?

Are you looking for work over the school holidays?  Recruitment is underway for the Royal Melbourne Show (25th September - 5th October).  No experience is required, you need to be aged 15+ and available for at least 9 out of 11 show days.  You would also need to be available for a compulsory induction on Wednesday 24th September.  For further details please see the brochure below.

Australian Short Course Swimming Championships

Victorian school students are eligible for 20% off tickets to the 2025 Australian Short Course Championships at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.  Running from 1st to 3rd October, this is a rare opportunity to see some of Australia's best swimmers up close.

Glen Waverley Library - Author Holly Cardamone

Author Holly Cardamone will be speaking at Glen Waverley Library during the September school holidays.  Holly will be promoting her new book " Summer, in between" which is being published on 16th September. Holly lives locally and will speak about her book but also about the process of writing and will include some writers workshop exercises.
