From The REC

Dear God,
We thank you for the blessings of this school term,
for the learning, the friendships, and the growth we have experienced.
As we prepare for our holiday break, we humbly ask for your loving protection over each member of our school community. Keep us safe in our travels and in our homes.
Grant us moments of true rest and rejuvenation, so that our bodies and minds may be refreshed. Help us to cherish time with our families and friends, filling our days with laughter, peace, and happy memories.
May we return to school renewed in spirit, ready to continue our journey of learning and discovery, always guided by your grace.
Amen
Thank you
Thank you to all the families who joined us for our final Family Mass of Term 3. Sharing in the celebration of the Eucharist together is a beautiful way to nurture our faith and strengthen our connection as a Parish community.
Father Paul and Kindergarten
Kindergarten continued learning about Catholic traditions in the church with Father Paul. Together, they explored the significance of the lectern, the presider’s chair, and the lectionary. The children also practised genuflecting and learned the importance of facing the tabernacle. Father Paul spoke with them about gathering at Mass because Jesus asked us to, and then gave each child the special opportunity to stand at the lectern and say, “The Word of God,” as well as to sit in the presider’s chair. We thank Father Paul for guiding the children in this meaningful experience.
Altar Servers
If anyone is interested in being trained to be an Altar Server at school and weekend Mass, please contact the school.

Year of Jubilee
2025 is a Jubilee Year in the Catholic Church.
A Jubilee Year is traditionally proclaimed by the Universal Church every 25 years. It is a particular year set aside to encourage the faithful to embark on pilgrimages, to repent of their sins and forgive the sins of others, and to renew a focus on spiritual life.
The theme is Pilgrims of Hope. Pope Francis has invited Catholics to renew our hope and discover a vision that can "restore access to the fruits of the earth to everyone". We are also invited to rediscover a spirituality of God's creation in which we understand ourselves as "pilgrims on the earth" rather than masters of the world.
You will see this logo often this year...
The logo symbolises unity and fraternity among all of humanity, with four stylised figures from different corners of the earth embracing each other. The leading figure holds a cross, representing faith and hope. The rough waves beneath the figures symbolise life's challenges, emphasising the need for hope in difficult times. The elongated lower part of the cross forms an anchor, a well-known symbol of hope. This image depicts the pilgrimage as a communal journey towards the cross, which reaches out dynamically to offer presence and hope.
