Library News

Welcome back to Term 3! We hope everyone has enjoyed a relaxing break and is ready for another exciting term of learning, discovery, and reading.
Our libraries have already had a wonderful start to the term, celebrating Bastille Day across both campuses with themed displays that gave students a chance to explore French culture and literature in a fun and engaging way.
There is plenty to discover in the library this term. Our shelves are filled with a fantastic selection of books, including many exciting new titles, while the library website has also been refreshed with new features and resources to help students find inspiration for their next great read.
The library continues to be a welcoming hub where students can read, learn, study and connect with others. Whether they're searching for their next favourite novel, researching an assignment, or enjoying a quiet place to spend time with friends, the library offers something for everyone.
2026 CBCA Reading Competition
We're excited to launch the 2026 CBCA Reading Competition!
Students are encouraged to read as many of the 2026 Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) Notable Books as they can before the award winners are announced on Friday 21 August 2026.
This is a wonderful opportunity to discover some of Australia's best children's and young adult literature, explore new authors and genres, and develop a lifelong love of reading.
With fantastic prizes and valuable House Points up for grabs, there's every reason to get involved. Students can visit their campus library to browse the CBCA Notables collection, borrow a book, and start recording their reading.
We look forward to seeing how many books our students can read over the coming weeks.
Happy reading!
