National Geography Competition
A total of 22 students (from Years 9-11) participated in the National Geography Competition this year, all achieving certificates for their outstanding results.
The Competition tested their geographical skills and knowledge against students from all around Australia.
There were over 47,000 students from 600 schools this year.
The Competition is a joint initiative of the Australian Geography Teachers’ Association and the Royal Geographical Society of Queensland.
Funding to support the Competition is provided by the Australian Department of Education, the University of Melbourne, the University of NSW, Western Sydney University and the University of WA.
