VCE Legal Studies & Business Management trip to Allens Law Firm

A group of year 10 and 11 students recently visited Allens law firm in the city to take part in the Allens Spark Initiative—a program designed to inspire and inform young people about pathways into the legal and commercial careers. For many, this experience offered a first look into the corporate world and the possibilities it holds.

During the visit, students participated in speed networking with a range of legal and corporate professionals, where students learned about different career journeys and practised valuable networking skills. Which was followed by an office tour, giving students a behind-the-scenes look at life inside a state of the art commercial law firm.

We are proud of our students for engaging so positively in this experience and grateful to Allens for offering such a valuable program that broadens horizons and creates pathways for the next generation of leaders. Thank you to Mr. Byers for organising such a fantastic event for our students and Mr Moss for attending on the day.

Year 10 Work Experience - Hala Abdou

During my work experience at a primary school, I had the opportunity to work with students in the classroom and during activities like reading, art, Italian and library sessions. I enjoyed helping the students learn while making the activities fun and engaging. It was a great experience that helped me build my confidence and communication skills, and it gave me a better understanding of what it's like to work in a school.
