Year 10 Camp

Year 10 Camp – Adventure, Teamwork and Resilience at Charnwood

Our Year 10 students recently enjoyed an action-packed and memorable camp at Charnwood Outdoor Education Centre, embracing every challenge and opportunity that came their way.

Throughout the camp, students participated enthusiastically in a wide range of activities, including mountain bike riding, abseiling, archery, water activities and Maker Shed experiences. The Maker Shed was a particular highlight, with students making pizzas and scones, enjoying billy tea and learning practical skills such as chopping wood.

Beyond the scheduled activities, students also took responsibility for many aspects of camp life. They worked together to manage the campfire and contributed to breakfast and dinner duties, demonstrating teamwork, cooperation and a growing sense of independence.

It was fantastic to see all students actively participating, trying new activities and pushing themselves beyond their comfort zones. They supported one another, showed resilience when faced with challenges and created many positive memories along the way.

Most importantly, a great time was had by everyone! The enthusiasm, positive attitude and willingness of our students to get involved made the camp a tremendous success.

A very special thank you to the wonderful staff who attended the camp and gave their time, energy and support to ensure our students had such a safe, enjoyable and successful experience. Your contribution was greatly appreciated.

Well done, Year 10 — what a fantastic camp!
