Hilltops Council Scholarship Program – Applications Now Open!
Are you a secondary or tertiary student living in the Hilltops Local Government Area? Hilltops Council invites you to apply for the Hilltops Council Scholarship Program, an annual initiative established under Section 356 of the Local Government Act 1993 to support the educational success of local students.
Each year, Council provides financial assistance to help students cover essential educational expenses—ensuring that every learner has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Scholarships are awarded across a range of categories and are designed to empower students as they continue their studies, develop new skills, and pursue future career pathways.
What Can the Scholarship Help With?
Funds received through the Hilltops Council Scholarship Program may be used to support a wide variety of education‑related costs, including:
- Tuition or course fees
- Laptop, iPad, or other learning devices
- Study‑related software, printer, stationery, and textbooks
- School or training uniforms and equipment
- Camps, excursions, or study‑related travel
- Study furniture such as desks, chairs, or lamps
- Face‑to‑face or online tutoring
- Travel expenses associated with study

How to Apply
Applicants must submit a completed prescribed application form, available on the Hilltops Council website or at any Council office. All applications, including required supporting documents, must be emailed to: submissions@hilltops.nsw.gov.au by the designated closing date and time.
