Year Adviser News
Mr El Hafiane - Year 12 Year Adviser
Dear Year 12,
The past 6 years have been the best years of my teaching career because I have been privileged to lead you.
I remember your keen and eager faces at the start of 2019 on your first day of high school. From the start, you were a very special group of students and you have remained that way until the end. It has been a pleasure to watch you grow into such amazing human beings and to see how far you have all come.
I was lucky enough to have been supported by amazing teachers at Evans High School, and I would like to say a big thank you to our Principal Ms Pretlove and Deputy Principal Ms Doyle for always believing in your abilities and for supporting me. To Ms Wachjo, Ms Elliott and Ms Liku, who I'd like to thank for being great Assistant Year Advisers over the years and I'm sure you also appreciated their help. Lastly to Ms Marasinghe, our Head Teacher of Year 12. A big thank you for all of her help and support. I wish her, and I have no doubt you do as well, the very best in her retirement.
I have so many fond memories of you all. From the conversations every morning, the banter we shared and the good times we had at our school carnivals and in class. I enjoyed sharing a great bond with you and getting to know you all so well. Being your Year Adviser made coming to work so easy and I enjoyed every minute of it.
Next year won’t be the same without you all and I want to thank each and every one of you for being the best year group to lead. I look forward to hearing all your success stories and the milestones you reach in your lives. Evans High School will always be your home and I’ll always be your Year Adviser.
I wish each and every one of you all the success in the future.
