Victor Chang Science Award

The Victor Chang School Science Awards celebrate excellence in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Established in honour of pioneering cardiac surgeon, Dr Victor Chang, the School Science Awards stimulate growth and foster an interest in STEM at a tertiary level and beyond.

STEM Day

Evans High School ran the STEM Youth Outreach programs conducted by the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) student chapter of Engineers Without Borders. These STEM educational workshops are to encourage students of all ages to pursue a career in science and engineering. These workshops aim to introduce students to the engineering method, using human-centred design thinking to complete challenging activities such as building floating houses.
