Giraween PS Visit

Our First Nations Students celebrated 'Education Week' and assisted with welcoming Girraween's visiting International Chinese students. It was a great time to share our Aboriginal culture with students. Jie did a smoking ceremony and Welcome to Country, which our students along with some Aboriginal students from Pendle Hill High were a part of. 

NAIDOC Week

Our First Nations students led a whole school NAIDOC Ceremony that celebrated Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements. Our Evans Aboriginal Dhangurra group shared two cultural dances that were choreographed by Jasmine Seymore and Corina Norman.
