SPC Cycling Central
Elise Harvey rode on and off the stage during assembly this week. This was the first time we have managed to have a cyclist do that!
Together with the recent Central Australian Rough Rider Club Championships last weekend we have also seen some impressive cycling feats from our students in the BMX arena.
- Andrea Gailey and Father Adrian travelling all the way to Nhulunbuy both winning in their categories and taking away the contended NT1 number plates as the fastest people in the Territory.
- Andrea then travelled to Adelaide for the SA Titles placing 5th in SA she will now have to decide which number plate she uses for the next year
- Caleb Nicol raced in the Junior Superclass coming in 2nd which was an amazing result in the combined age group and stiff competition. He also placed 1st scoring a NT1 plate for 14 Boys.
- Dysen Drew placed in 5th in the SA Championships
- Cooper Drew placing 2nd in SA with both brother really winding up the tempo and putting the pressure on the SA riders.
Most of these riders will be joining Reece Cole and Jye Harvey as they travel to the National Championships in Shepparton, Victoria later this month and we wish them all well.
