In The Classroom - Prep

‘The Bridge and Beyond’

During Term 3, the Prep students are working collaboratively with a partner to design and make a goat, troll, boat and bridge as part of our topic ‘Bridge and Beyond’. Throughout our project to ‘Save the Billy Goat Gruff’, they are demonstrating their critical and creative thinking skills in order to problem solve and make predictions about what will be suitable shapes and materials to make each element. During discussions they are sharing their thoughts and ideas, and are enjoying making and testing their models and then comparing their results with their predictions.
