Hi all

Our Girl’s T-ball and Boy’s AFL9’s sports teams both played in Region finals in the past weeks.  Both teams only lost one game, and that’s all it takes to miss out on the Victorian State finals.  The South Metro Region is very strong and takes in the entire Mornington Peninsula to the south, Berwick to the east and Brighton to the north.  We are very proud of our kids for making it as far as they did this year.  Thank you families for your support of the teams

The Year 6 students have one more week of Bike Ed.  They have been learning road rules, bike maintenance and riding skills.  The highlight was our ride last Friday to our ”away” game versus Edithvale PS.  We rode the “mean streets” of Aspendale through to Taronga Dve before riding the wetlands trail to Edithvale.  Thank you to all of the parents that came along for the ride and ensured our kids got there and back in one piece.

Our Year preps, 1s and 2s have started a gymnastics program that will finish off term 3.  They will be working on their balance, core strength and flexibility via a number of disciplines.
