Respectful Relationships – Topic 6: Help‑Seeking
This term, students are learning about help‑seeking - recognising when they need support, identifying trusted adults, and practising confident, respectful ways to ask for help. These skills strengthen resilience, emotional awareness and positive relationships both at school and at home.
How families can support help‑seeking
- Encourage children to talk about worries or tricky situations
- Help them identify trusted adults they can go to
- Practise simple phrases like “I need help with…” or “I’m not sure what to do”
- Remind them that everyone needs help sometimes
