School Expectation: CARE FOR ENVIRONMENT
Expected behaviour: We tidy up
As part of our schoolwide expectations, our focus over the past fortnight has been ‘We tidy up’. Through explicit teaching and practice, students have explored how we can all help keep our school environment tidy and care for our wonderful learning spaces.
At St Mary’s, our expectations are clear, inclusive and achievable. Teachers teach and model expected behaviours, while classroom learning, assemblies and SRC discussions provide opportunities to practise and reflect. Together, we build respect, responsibility and care so everyone feels safe, connected and ready to learn.
At our SRC meeting this afternoon, students will select a new focus for the next fortnight.
