Sorry Day Liturgy & Activities

Yesterday our school gathered for a liturgy to mark National Sorry Day, reaffirming that we are all for reconciliation.

Our students learnt about Country and the language groups of the First Nations people in a workshop led by Mrs Thompson. Students reflected upon how lucky we are to live on Wadjuk noogar boodja and how important connection to country is for the first nations people.

Classes created a visual representation of their classes' individual Acknowledgement of Country using leaves gathered from the grounds of Kala Gnara (Ellenbrook).
