Writing Spotlight

In Term 2, KP students have been developing their writing skills by creating simple sentences. Each lesson begins with a drawing activity where students illustrate their ideas. They then write a sentence to match their picture, with a strong focus on using capital letters at the start and full stops at the end. This helps them build confidence in expressing their thoughts and using correct sentence structure.

In 6G, students have been engaged in narrative writing. They are exploring how to plan, draft, and edit their own stories, making sure to include interesting characters, settings, and creative plots. Students are using their imagination while also developing their skills in organising ideas and using descriptive language.
